Bob Burt from Southampton, NJ has been playing music for many years. He is semi retired and loves to play music whenever he gets the chance. He was a member of the Mountain Strings Dulcimer Band for 15 years. He presently has his own band, the Piney Hollow Drifters. The band specializes in performing old time music for many functions around New Jersey, Pennsylvania , New York and Delaware.
Sylvia Burt from Southampton, NJ, Bob’s wife, has been playing music since she was 5 years old. She started playing dulcimer and autoharp back around 1979. She retired in 2007 from a publishing company and is now spending time enjoying her four grandchildren every chance she gets, and playing music with her husband Bob’s band the Piney Hollow Drifters. She plays Mountain Dulcimer, Hammered Dulcimer, 5 string banjo and autoharp. Sylvia has taught autoharp workshops at the Cranberry gathering in Binghampton New York.
